Prof. Sahib Singhਰਾਜੇ ਹੋਣ, ਅਮੀਰ ਹੋਣ, ਚਾਹੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਹੋਣ, ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਇਥੇ ਸਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ। ਜੋ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਰਨਾ ਹੈ, (ਇਹ ਨਿਯਮ) ਸਦਾ ਲਈ (ਅਟੱਲ) ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਾਇ = ਅਮੀਰ। ਰੰਕ = ਕੰਗਾਲ। ਆਇ ਜਾਇ = ਜੋ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਜੁਗ ਚਾਰੇ = (ਇਹ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਨਿਯਮ) ਚਹੁੰ ਜੁਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ (ਚਲਿਆ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ)।

(ਇਥੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ) ਕਿਸੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਤਰਲੇ ਲੈਣੇ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹਨ।
