Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਆਪਣੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਮਿਣਤੀ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਵੇਖ ਲੈ, ਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਰੂਰ ਨਿਸਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਟੁਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਭਾਈ ਜਨੋਂ! ਤੁਮ (ਗਨਿ ਮਿਨਿ) ਗਿਨ ਕੇ ਅਰ ਮਿਨ ਕੇ, ਭਾਵ ਨਿਸਚੈ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ ਦੇਖ ਲੇਵੋ, ਇਸ (ਲੋਗ) ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੇ (ਸਰਪਰ) ਜਰੂਰ ਹੀ (ਚਲਨੋ) ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਨਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਵੇਖ ਲਵੋ, ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰ (ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਇਥੋਂ) ਤੁਰ ਜਾਇਗਾ (ਫਿਰ ਨਾਸਵੰਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਸਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ?)
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗਨਿ ਮਿਨਿ = ਗਿਣ ਕੇ, ਮਿਣ ਕੇ। ਸਰਪਰ = ਜ਼ਰੂਰ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਾਸਵੰਤ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਹਿਸ਼, ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਿਟਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕੇਵਲ ਨਾਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ (ਆਸਾਂ ਆਦਿਕ ਦੇ) ਰੋਗ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ ਨਾਸ-ਵੰਤ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਨਿਤ ਆਸ = ਨਿੱਤ ਨਾਹ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਸ ॥੧॥
