Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਾਨਕ, ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ, ਇਨਸਾਨ, ਆਪਣੇ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਆ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਸਭ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ;

Sant Singh KhalsaChanting, deep meditation and austere self-disciplined practices are all wasted; he is deceived by the love of duality.

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸ਼ਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੈ-ਜਬਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੇ ਠੱਗ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਜਪ ਤਕ ਸੰਜਮ ਸਭ ਵਿਕਾਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਹਿਰ ਲੀਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਬੁਧੀ ਦ੍ਵੈਤ ਭਾਵ ਮੇਂ ਠਗੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਪ ਤਪ ਤੇ ਸੰਜਮ ਸਭ ਖੁੱਸ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ) ਠੱਗੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਿਰਿ ਲਇਆ = ਚੁਰਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
