Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਇਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਹੈ (ਸਧਾਰਨ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ) ਵੇਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਪੇ = (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਆਪ ਹੀ। ਅਲਖੁ = ਅਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮੂਰਖ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਇਹ ਭੇਤ) ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ, (ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ) ਬਾਹਰ (ਜੰਗਲ ਆਦਿਕ ਵਿਚ) ਲੱਭਣ ਤੁਰ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਨਮੁਖੁ = ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ। ਮੁਗਧੁ = ਮੂਰਖ।
