Fareedkot Teekaਇਸ ਜੀਵ ਕੋ ਜੇ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਾ ਮੇਲਾ ਹੋਇ ਤੌ ਜੀਵ ਸੁਖੀ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖ ਸੇ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ। ਔ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਰਿਦੇ ਮੇਂ ਏਕ ਰਸ ਹਰੀ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਰੂਪ ਬਾਜਾ ਬਜਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਇਕ ਰਸ ਬਿਰਤੀ ਕਾ ਲਗਣਾ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੌਖਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ, ਮਾਨੋ,) ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਬੰਸਰੀ ਵੱਜਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ = ਸੁਖੀ। ਬੀਣਾ = ਬੰਸਰੀ। ਅਨਹਦ = {अन = हत ਬਿਨਾ ਵਜਾਏ} ਇਕ-ਰਸ, ਸਦਾ ਹੀ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੀਤਾ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਜੀਵ। ਕਿਆ ਸਾਲਾਹੀਐ = ਸਿਫ਼ਤਾਂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਕੀਹ ਲਾਭ? ਕਰਿ = ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ। ਵੇਖੈ = ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੋਈ = ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ।
