ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਾਪੈ = ਜੰਮਦੀ ਹੈ, ਬਣੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਮਿ = ਜੰਮ ਕੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ (ਮਾਇਆ ਨਾਲ) ਚੰਬੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਉਮੈ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਤਿਨੋਂ ਨੇ ਦੁਖੋਂ ਕੇ ਫਾਹਿਓਂ ਕੇ ਸਮੁਦਾਇ ਕੋ ਕਾਟਾ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਨੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਮੇਂ (ਸਮਾਇ) ਅਭੇਦ ਕਰ ਲੀਏ ਹੈਂ॥੩੦॥☬ਜਬ ਅਜਾਮਲ ਕੋ ਰਾਮ ਗਣੋਂ ਨੇ ਜਮਦੂਤੋਂ ਸੇ ਛੁਡਾਇ ਲੀਆ, ਤਬ ਜਮਦੂਤੋਂ ਨੇ ਧਰਮਰਾਜ ਕੇ ਪਾਸ ਜਾਇ ਕਰ ਅਰ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰ ਡਾਰ ਕਰ ਅਪਨਾ ਹਾਲ ਸੁਨਾਇਆ। ਤਬ ਧਰਮਰਾਜ ਅਪਨੇ ਦੂਤੋਂ ਕੋ ਸਿਖ੍ਯਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ (ਮੋਹ ਤੋਂ ਉਪਜੀਆਂ) ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਾਹੀਆਂ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩੦॥
