ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਠਗਉਰੀ = ਠਗ-ਮੂਰੀ, ਠਗ-ਬੂਟੀ। ਪਾਇ = ਪਾ ਕੇ। ਰੀਝਾਇ = ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ = ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ। ਅਗਾਧਿ = ਅਥਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ। ਕੰਠੇ ਲਗਿ = ਕੰਠਿ ਲਗਿ, ਗਲ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਭਿ = ਸਾਰੇ। ਦੋਖ = ਵਿਕਾਰ, ਭੈੜ। ਜੋਹਿਆ = ਜੋਖ ਲਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਭਗਤਿ ਲਖ੍ਹਣ ਕਰਿ = ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਲੱਛਣਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ। ਵਸਿ = ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਸਤਸੰਗੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਜਿਉਂ ਜਿਉਂ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਮਨਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਆਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਫੁਰਨੇ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ), ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਧੱਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੇ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਖੀ = ਸਖੀਆਂ ਨੇ, ਸਤਸੰਗੀਆਂ ਨੇ। ਮੰਗਲੋ = ਮੰਗਲੁ, ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ, ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੀਤ, ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਬਦ। ਹੋਹਿਆ = ਹੋਹੇ, ਹੁਜਕੇ, ਧੱਕੇ।
