Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜੇ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੇ ਰਹੀਏ ਤਾਂ) ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ (ਇਸ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖ-ਆਨੰਦ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ (ਇਹ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ) ਜਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਈਹਾ = ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਘਨਾ = ਬਹੁਤ। ਆਗੈ = ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਜੀਅ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ = ਜਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ। ਜੀਅ ਕੈ ਕਾਮ = ਜਿੰਦ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
