Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ) ਹੰਸ (ਵਰਗੇ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਬਗੁਲੇ) ਨੂੰ ਕਲੋਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਚਨ-ਚੇਤ ਬਾਜ਼ ਆ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਤਿਵੇਂ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਆ ਫੜਦੇ ਹਨ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੇਲ = ਕਲੋਲ। ਹੰਝ = ਹੰਸ (ਜਿਹਾ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਬਗੁਲਾ)। ਅਚਿੰਤੇ = ਅਚਨ -ਚੇਤ। ਤਿਹੁ = ਉਸ (ਹੰਝ) ਨੂੰ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਜ਼ ਆ ਕੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਲੋਲ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹੀ ਹਾਲ ਮੌਤ ਆਇਆਂ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ)।
