ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧੰਨੁ ਗੁਰਦੇਵ = ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ, ਸ਼ਾਬਾਸ਼ੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ। ਜਿਸੁ ਸੰਗਿ = ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ।
