ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੀਤਲਾ ਮੂਰਤਿ = ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਠੰਢਾ-ਠਾਰ ਹੈ। ਸੁਖ ਮੂਰਤਿ = ਸੁਖ-ਸਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ। ਸਾਂਤਿ ਮੂਰਤਿ = ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ-ਸਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ। ਧਿਆਇ = ਧਿਆਇਆ ਕਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ) ਸਾਰੀ ਆਸ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

Fareedkot Teekaਸੰਤਾਪ ਦੇਣੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਤੀਨੋਂ ਤਾਪ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਬਹੁੜੋ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਕਾਲ ਖਾਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਤਸੰਗੀ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਸੇ ਸਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥੨॥੧੧॥☬ਆਗੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਰੇ) ਦੁੱਖ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ) ਫਿਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਖਾ ਸਕਦੀ ॥੨॥੧੧॥
