Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਾਨਕ, ਬਿਜਲੀ ਲਿਸ਼ਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤੀ ਕਾਲੀ ਘਟਾ ਗੱਜਦੀ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: (ਬਿਜੁਲੀਆ) ਮਾਇਆ ਕੇ ਚਮਤਕਾਰ ਔ ਮੋਹ ਰੂਪ ਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਂ ਘੁਰਤੀਆਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਬੋਲਤੀ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਆਦਿ ਮੋਹ ਭੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਸਾਵਣ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ) ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਵਾਂ ਗੱਜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਬਿਜਲੀਆਂ ਚਮਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਘੁਰਨਿ = ਘੁਰ-ਘੁਰ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਗੜ੍ਹਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਗੱਜਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਅਤਿ ਕਾਲੀਆ = ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਾਲੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਬਰਖਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਅਤੇ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੋਭਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teekaਕਰਮ ਰੂਪ ਅਪਾਰ ਮੇਘ ਪਦਾਰਥੋਂ ਕੀ ਬਹੁਲਤਾ ਬਰਸ ਰਹੇ ਹੈਂ। ਪਰੰਤੂ ਜੋ ਪਿਰੀ ਸਾਥ (ਸੰਗਮਿ) ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਹੂਈਆਂ ਹੈਂ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਤੋ ਸਭ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਸੋਭਤੀਆਂ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਸੁਖਦਾਇਕ ਹੈਂ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਤੇ ਬੱਦਲ ਮੁਹਲੇ-ਧਾਰ ਵਰ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ (ਤਦੋਂ ਕੈਸਾ ਸੁਹਾਵਣਾ ਸਮਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ); ਪਰ ਇਹ ਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਘਟਾਵਾਂ (ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਨੂੰ) ਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੇਘ = ਬੱਦਲ। ਸੰਗਮਿ = ਮਿਲਾਪ ਵਿਚ। ਸੁਹੰਦੀਆ = ਸੋਹਣੀਆਂ ਲੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
