ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਧਿਆਤਮ = ਆਤਮਾ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ, ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ। ਅਧਿਆਤਮ ਕਰਮ = ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਮ। ਸਾਚਾ = ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ, ਅਡੋਲ, ਅਹਿੱਲ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੁਕਤਿ = ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ। ਭੇਦੁ = ਗੂਝ ਗੱਲ। ਕਾਚਾ = ਕੱਚੇ ਮਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
