Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਗਵਾਰ! ਤੇਰੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ (ਗੂਜਰੀ ਜਾਤਿ) ਬੀਤੀ ਜਾਤੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਅਪਨਾ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ ਪਾਵੈ ਤਬ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਇ। ਵਾ ਜਬ ਗੂਜਰੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਗੋਪੀਓਂ ਨੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਮੇਂ ਕਾਮ ਭਾਉਨਾ ਸੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਅਪਨੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੋ ਪਾਇ ਲਿਆ। ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਰੈਗਾ ਤੌ ਕਿਆ ਨ ਪਾਵੈਗਾ ਅਵਸ੍ਯ ਪਾਵੈਗਾ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਆਪ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰੇ ਉਹੀ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਚੰਗੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ = (ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਕਰਤਾਰਿ' ਤੇ 'ਕਰਤਾਰੁ' ਦਾ ਵਿਆਕਰਣਿਕ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ-ਯੋਗ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥
