ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਾਚਹੁ = ਰਚੇ ਰਹੋ, ਮਿਲੇ ਰਹੋ। ਸਹਾਈ ਸੰਤਨਾ = ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਈ। ਅਬ = ਹੁਣ। ਗਹੇ = ਫੜੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Fareedkot Teekaਅਬ ਮਨ ਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਤਿਸੀ ਕੋ (ਆਹੇ) ਚਾਹੁਤਾ ਹੂੰ ਔਰ ਕਛੁ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਤਨ ਮੇਂ ਤਿਸੀ ਕੇ (ਚਰਨਾਵੈ) ਜੋ ਪੈਰ ਚਰਨ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਪੂਜ੍ਯ ਰੂਪ ਹੈਂ, ਸੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਰਿਦੇ ਮੇਂ ਆਵੈ, ਐਸੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੂੰ। ਔ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਚਰਨੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਮੈਰਾ ਮਨ ਐਸੇ ਉਰਝਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੈਸੇ (ਅਲਿ) ਭਵਰ ਕਮਲੋਂ ਕੀ (ਮਕਰੰਦ) ਰਸ ਮੇਂ ਔਰੁ ਵਾਸਨਾ ਮੇਂ ਉਲਝ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ) ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਭੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ, (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ) ਤਾਂਘਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭੌਰਾ ਕੌਲ-ਫੁੱਲ ਦੀ ਧੂੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਪਟਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਲ ਹੀ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਪਰਤਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਹੇ = ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮਨ ਨ ਭਾਵੈ = ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ {ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਮਨ' ਸੰਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਾਰਕ, ਇਕ-ਵਚਨ}। ਅਵਰੁ = ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਪਦਾਰਥ। ਚਰਨਾਵੈ = ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਲ ਹੀ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਲਿ = ਭੌਰਾ। ਮਕਰੰਦ = ਫੁੱਲ ਦੀ ਧੂੜੀ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਘੂਟੀਐ = ਚੁੰਘੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਧੂ = ਗੁਰੂ। ਸੰਗਿ = ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ। ਉਲਟੀਐ = (ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ) ਪਰਤ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
