Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਵਿਸਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਰਿ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਭੁਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਉਸ ਦੀ (ਸਾਰੀ) ਕੁਲ ਹੀ ਗਾਲੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਕੁਲ ਹੀ ਕਲੰਕਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ)।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਨਿ = ਜਿਸ (ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਨੇ। ਕੈ ਕੁਲਿ = ਦੀ ਕੁਲ ਵਿਚ। ਤਿਸ ਕੈ = (ਸੰਬੰਧਕ 'ਕੈ' ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਤਿਸੁ' ਦਾ (ੁ) ਉਡ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ)। ਗਾਰੀ = ਗਾਲੀ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ, ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਉਂ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬੱਚਾ (ਆਪਣੀ) ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ॥੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਿ ਡੀਠੈ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆਂ, ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦਿੱਸ ਪਏ। ਬਿਗਸੈ = ਖਿੜ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਾਰਿਕੁ = ਬਾਲਕ, ਬੱਚਾ। ਦੇਖਿ ਮਹਤਾਰੀ = ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ॥੩॥

Fareedkot Teekaਜੀਵ ਰੂਪ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਕਾ ਔਰ (ਪਿਰ) ਪਤੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕਾ ਇਕ ਹੀ ਸੰਗਾ ਵਾਸਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਅੰਤਹਕਰਣ ਵਿਸਸਟ ਜੀਵ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਅੰਤਹਕਰਣ ਉਪਹਿਤ ਈਸ੍ਵਰ ਕਾ ਇਕ ਦੇਹ ਮੇਂ ਵਾਸਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰੰਤੂ ਬੀਚ ਹੰਤਾ, ਮਮਤਾ ਕੀ ਭੀਤ (ਕਰਾਰੀ) ਤਕੜੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਤੇ ਮਿਲਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਇਕੋ ਹੀ (ਹਿਰਦੇ-) ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵਸੇਬਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ (ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਵਿਚ (ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਦੀ) ਹਉਮੈ ਦੀ ਕਰੜੀ ਕੰਧ (ਬਣੀ ਪਈ) ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧਨ = ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ, ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ। ਪਿਰ = ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਪਤੀ। ਸੰਗਿ = ਨਾਲ। ਇਕ ਹੀ ਸੰਗਿ = ਇਕੋ ਹੀ ਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ। ਭੀਤਿ = ਕੰਧ। ਕਰਾਰੀ = ਕਰੜੀ, ਸਖ਼ਤ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਹੰਤਾ ਮਮਤਾ ਕੀ ਕੰਧ, ਭਾਵ ਪੜਦਾ ਤੋੜ ਦੀਆ ਹੈ ਔਰ (ਬਨਵਾਰੀ) ਭਗਵਾਨ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੈਂ॥੪॥੧॥☬ਦੋ ਭਾਈ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਣ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਸਿਖ ਥੇ, ਸਿਖੋਂ ਕੋ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਲਿਖ ਕਰ ਦੀਆ ਕਰਤੇ ਥੇ। ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਅਪਣੀ ਇਛਾ ਸੇ ਉਨ ਕੋ ਕੁਛ ਦੇ ਜਾਤਾ ਸੋ ਲੇ ਲੇਤੇ ਥੇ। ਤਿਨੋਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਪਾਸ ਕਹਾ ਕਿ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਜਾਤੀ ਕੇ ਲੋਗ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ। ਕਿ ਤੁਮ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਣ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਾਧੋਂ ਕੀ ਟਹਿਲ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੋ, ਗੰਗਾ ਆਦਿਕ ਤੀਰਥੋਂ ਕੀ ਜਾਤ੍ਰਾ ਕੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਤੇ। ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਸੰਬੋਧੁ ਹੇਤ ਸਤਸੰਗ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
