Prof. Sahib Singhਗੰਗਾ, ਜਮਨਾ, ਗੋਦਾਵਰੀ, ਸਰਸ੍ਵਤੀ (ਆਦਿਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਦੀਆਂ) ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੇ = ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ (ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ)। ਕਰਹਿ = ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ (ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ)। ਕੀ ਤਾਈ = ਕੀ ਤਾਈਂ, ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ, ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ) ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਤੀਰਥ ਵਿਚ (ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਤਮਕ) ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ (ਹੀ) ਅਠਾਹਠ ਤੀਰਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੀਰਥਿ = ਤੀਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ, ਤੀਰਥ ਵਿਚ। ਨਾਈ = ਵਡਿਆਈ, ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ। ਮਜਨੁ = ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ। ਤੀਰਥਿ ਨਾਈ = ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਤੀਰਥ ਵਿਚ। ਤੀਰਥਿ ਮਜਨੁ ਨਾਈ = ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਤੀਰਥ ਵਿਚ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ। ਅਠਸਠਿ ਮਜਨੁ = ਅਠਾਹਠ (ਤੀਰਥਾਂ) ਦਾ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸੰਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਧੂ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਲਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ = ਸੰਬੰਧਕ 'ਕੀ' ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਤਿਸੁ' ਦਾ (ੁ) ਉਡ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ)। ਮੁਖਿ = ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਤੇ ॥੩॥

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਤਨੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ੍ਟੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ ਕੀ ਰਚੀ ਹੂਈ ਤੁਮਾਰੀ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟੀ ਮੇਂ ਆਵਤੀ ਹੈ ਸਭ ਤਿਤਨੀ ਹੀ ਸਾਧੂ ਕੀ ਧੂਰੀ ਕੋ (ਲੋਚੈ) ਚਾਹਿਤੀ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਜਿਤਨੀ ਭੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਾਂਘ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੁਆਮੀ = ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਲੋਚੈ = ਲੋਚਦੀ ਹੈ (ਇਕ-ਵਚਨ)।
