Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਮਨ ਟਿਕ ਗਿਆ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਧ = ਗੁਰੂ! ਚਲਤੌ = ਭਟਕਦਾ, ਚੰਚਲ। ਅਰੂੜਾ = ਅਸਥਿਰ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਕ-ਰਸ ਰੌ ਨਾਲ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਸਦਾ ਵਾਜੇ ਵੱਜਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ (ਪੀ ਪੀ ਕੇ) ਉਹ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਨਹਤ = ਇਕ-ਰਸ, ਲਗਾਤਾਰ। ਧੁਨਿ = ਰੌ। ਵਾਜਹਿ = ਵੱਜਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਧਾਰ = ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਦੀ ਧਾਰ। ਰਸਿ = ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਨਾਲ। ਲੀੜਾ = ਲੇੜ੍ਹ ਲਿਆ, ਰੱਜ ਗਿਆ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਬੱਝੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਲਾ ਕੇ (ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ) ਜ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਕਤ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ। ਬੰਧ ਭਏ = ਬੱਝੇ ਪਏ। ਬਿਖੁ = (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ) ਜ਼ਹਿਰ। ਸੰਚਹਿ = ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਕੀੜਾ = ਹਠ, ਜ਼ੋਰ।

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਵੁਹ (ਹਲਤਿ) ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਔ (ਪਲਤਿ) ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਬੀਚ ਹਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਵਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਵਾ ਪਾਵੇਂਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ (ਗੂੜਾ) ਸੰਘਨਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅਤੀ ਰੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਲਗਾ ਹੈ॥੩॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੋਭਾ ਖੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਗੂੜ੍ਹਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਲਤਿ = {अत्र} ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਪਲਤਿ = {परत्र} ਪਰ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਪਾਵਹਿ = ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਖੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ। ਰੰਗੁ = ਪ੍ਰੇਮ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ॥੩॥

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਮੈਂ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਤਿਨ ਸ੍ਰੇਸਟ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੋਂ ਕੇ ਚਰਨੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਲਾਗੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸੰਤੋਂ ਕੇ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਕਾ (ਪਾਖਾਣ) ਪਥਰ ਵਤ ਮੂੜ ਸੁਭਾਵ ਹਰਿਆ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦੂਰ ਕੀਆ ਹੈ; ਵਾ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਮੂੜ ਜੋ ਪਾਖਾਣ ਵਤ ਰੁਖਾ ਥਾ, ਸੋ ਹਰਿਆ ਕੀਆ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੬॥☬ਉਪਦੇਸ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-) ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਮੂਰਖ ਅਭਿੱਜ ਮਨ ਹਰਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੬॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਗ = ਪੈਰ। ਮਿਲਿ = ਮਿਲ ਕੇ। ਪਾਖਾਣੁ = ਪੱਥਰ, ਪੱਥਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਅਭਿੱਜ। ਮੂੜਾ = ਮੂਰਖ ॥੪॥੬॥
