Fareedkot Teekaਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਸੁਖ ਕਰਨੇਹਾਰਾ ਹੈ ਔ ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਸੁਖ ਦੇ ਕਰਨੇਹਾਰਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਨਿਤ ਸੁਖ ਕੇ ਦੇਨੇਹਾਰਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ! ਤੂੰ ਐਸੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰ ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਆਪ ਕਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ (ਲੀਜੈ) ਲਈਏ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕਰੀਏ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਿਮਰਨ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਲਤਿ = {अत्र} ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਪਲਤਿ = {परत्र} ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਨਿਤ = ਸਦਾ ਹੀ। ਸਿਮਰਨੋ = ਸਿਮਰਨੁ। ਲੀਜੈ = ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਸ ਆਪ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਸੇ ਚਿਰੰਕਾਲ ਕੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅਨੇਕ ਜਨਮੋਂ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਏ ਹੂਏ ਹੈਂ, ਸੋ ਸਭੀ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਤੇ ਹੈਂ। ਔਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮੇਂ ਮਿਲਕਰ (ਮੁਆ) ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਹੂਆ ਜੀਵ ਪੜਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਜੀਵ ਤੇ ਈਸ੍ਵਰ ਰੂਪ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਚਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਪਾਪ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ) ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤੇ ਮਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੁੜ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਿਟਹਿ = ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਮਾਣੇ ਚਿਰਾਣੇ = ਚਿਰ ਦੇ ਕਮਾਏ ਹੋਏ। ਮਿਲਿ = ਮਿਲ ਕੇ। ਮੁਆ = ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤੇ ਮਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ। ਜੀਜੈ = ਜੀਊਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਜਵਾਨੀ (ਦੇ ਹੁਲਾਰੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਭੁਲਾ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ! ਮਾਇਆ ਦਾ ਮੋਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਦੁੱਖ (ਦਾ ਮੂਲ) ਹੈ-ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਮਹਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਿਸਰੰਤ = ਭੁਲਾ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮਹਾ = ਵੱਡਾ। ਏਹੁ = ਇਹ (ਬਚਨ)। ਮਹਾਂਤ = ਵੱਡੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਾਲੇ। ਕਹੈ = ਕਹੈਂ।
