Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪਰ) ਝੂਠੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ (ਮਾਂ ਪਿਉ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਆਦਿਕ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਸਦਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਜੀਵ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸਾਰੀ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਝੂਠੈ ਮੋਹਿ = ਝੂਠੈ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ। ਭਰਮਿ = ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ (ਪੈ ਕੇ)। ਭੁਲਾਈ = (ਦੁਨੀਆ) ਭੁੱਲੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਉਸ ਅੱਤ ਵਿਕਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਭੀ ਅਰਜ਼ੋਈ) ਪਸੰਦ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਵੈ = ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ ॥੨॥
