Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜਦੋਂ (ਬੱਚਾ) ਭੁੱਖਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਦੋਂ (ਖਾਣ ਨੂੰ) ਭੋਜਨ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦੋਂ ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ (ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ)।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਾਂਗੈ = (ਬਾਲਕ) ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਘਾਏ = (ਜਦੋਂ) ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਘਾਰੈ = ਸਗਲੇ, ਸਾਰੇ।

Fareedkot Teekaਜਬ ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ਸੰਗ ਜੀਵ ਬਸਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਬ ਅਰੋਗ ਰਹਿਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਅਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਰੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਤਾ। ਜਬ ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇ (ਛੁਟਕਤ) ਜੁਦਾ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਬ (ਰਵਾਰੈ) ਧੂਰੀ ਵਤ, ਭਾਵ ਤੁਛ ਹੋ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਹ ਜੀਵ) ਜਦੋਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ (ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਰੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਤਾਂਦਾ, (ਤੈਥੋਂ) ਵਿਛੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ (ਇਹ) ਮਿੱਟੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੁਮ ਸੰਗਿ = ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ। ਛੁਟਕਤ = (ਤੈਥੋਂ) ਵਿਛੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ। ਰਵਾਰੈ = ਧੂੜ, ਮਿੱਟੀ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਦਾ ਕੀਹ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਚੱਲ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ? ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਸੇਰੋ = ਵੱਸ, ਜ਼ੋਰ। ਕੋ = ਦਾ। ਥਾਪਿ = ਥਾਪ ਕੇ, ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ। ਉਥਾਪਨਹਾਰੈ = ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਤੇਰਾ ਦਾਸ) ਨਾਨਕ ਇਹ (ਹੀ) ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ- ਜਦੋਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਭੁੱਲਦਾ, ਤਦੋਂ (ਆਤਮਕ) ਜੀਵਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੨੯॥੫੨॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਾਈਐ = ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਿਨਤੀ ਸਾਰੈ = ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੨੯॥੫੨॥
