ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਤਮੁ = ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ, ਆਪਣੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੂੰ। ਚੀਨੈ = ਪਰਖਦਾ, ਪਛਾਣਦਾ। ਸੂਤਾ = ਗ਼ਾਫ਼ਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
