Fareedkot Teekaਸੋ ਜੋ ਸਭਾਗਾ ਪੁਰਸੁ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਦੇਹ ਰੂਪੀ ਬਸਤਰ ਕੋਈ ਚੀਰ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਫਾਂਕਾਂ ਭੀ ਕਰ ਦੇਵੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਹਰੀ ਕਾ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਤਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵ ਹਰੀ ਕੇ ਦਾਸੋਂ ਕੋ ਕੋਈ ਕਿਤਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਸ੍ਟ ਭੀ ਦੇਵੈ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਹਰੀ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੋਡਤੇ॥੩॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰੰਗ ਚਾੜ੍ਹ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ) ਸੋਭਾ (ਖੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰੰਗਿ ਚਲੂਲੈ = ਗੂੜ੍ਹੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ।
