Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਜੈਸੇ ਬੋਲਨ ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਸੋਭਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਸੋਭਦੇ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ) (ਇਹ ਇਕ ਅਚਰਜ ਕੌਤਕ ਹੈ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੋਹੰਨਿ = ਸੋਭਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਿਰੰਮ ਕੀ = ਪਿਆਰੇ ਦੀ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜਿਸ (ਪਿਰੰਨਿ) ਪਿਆਰੇ ਹਰੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਲਾਈ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਹਰੀ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਾਨਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਇਸ ਭੇਤ ਦੀ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸਕਦੀ) ਜਿਸ ਪਿਰ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨੇ ਇਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪੇ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਨਿ = ਜਿਸ ਨੇ (ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਜਿਨ' ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ ਹੈ ਤੇ 'ਜਿਨਿ' ਇਕ-ਵਚਨ)। ਪਿਰੰਨਿ = ਪਿਰ ਨੇ, ਖ਼ਸਮ ਨੇ। ਜਿਨਿ ਪਿਰੰਨਿ = ਜਿਸ ਪਿਰ ਨੇ ॥੨॥
* ਨੋਟ: ਪਿਛਲਾ ਸਲੋਕ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸਲੋਕ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮਹਲੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਲਗੰਨਿ' 'ਵਸੰਨਿ' ਤੇ 'ਸੋਹੰਨਿ' ਇਕੋ ਹੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੇ ਹਨ।
