Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਥਾ ਕਾ ਰਸ ਲੀਆ ਹੈ (ਤਹ) ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਸਰੂਪ ਕਾ ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਹੂਆ ਹੈ, ਔਰ ਅਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਰੂਪ ਅੰਧੇਰਾ ਮਿਟ ਗਇਆ ਹੈ। ਦਿਸਟਾਂਤ: ਜੈਸੇ ਸੂਰਜ ਕੇ ਉਦੇ ਹੋਣੇ ਸੇ ਰਾਤ੍ਰੀ (ਕਿਰਾਖੀ) ਖਿੰਚੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦੂਰ ਭਈ ਹੈ। ਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਉਦੇ ਹੋਨੇ ਕਾ ਫਲ ਦਿਖਾਵਤੇ ਹੂਏ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਹ = ਉਸ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ। ਰੈਣਿ = ਰਾਤ। ਕਿਰਾਖੀ = ਖਿੱਚ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ (ਅਦਿਸਟੁ) ਨੇਤ੍ਰੋਂ ਕਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ, (ਅਗੋਚਰੁ) ਸੋ ਬਾਣੀ ਕਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ, (ਅਲਖੁ) ਲਖਣਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਸੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਜੋ ਮਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਖਾ ਜਾਤਾ, ਸੋ ਬੁਧ ਰੂਪੀ ਨੇਤ੍ਰੋਂ ਸੇ ਵਾ ਸੁਰਤੀ ਸਿਮਰਤੀ ਰੂਪੀ ਨੇਤ੍ਰੋਂ ਸੇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖੋਂ ਨੇ ਦੇਖ ਲੀਆ ਹੈ॥੧੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਇਹਨਾਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ) ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ, ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅਲੱਖ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਖੀਂ ਦਿੱਸ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ = ਅ-ਗੋ-ਚਰੁ। ਗੋ = ਇੰਦ੍ਰੇ। ਚਰੁ = ਚਲਣਾ, ਅੱਪੜਨਾ। ਅਗੋਚਰੁ = ਜਿਸ ਤਕ ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ ॥੧੨॥
