Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਭਾਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਚਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਪ੍ਰੰਤੂ ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
Fareedkot Teekaਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਰ ਅਣਜਾਣ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੀ ਗ੍ਯਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਉਤਨਾ ਚਿਰ) ਉੱਚੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ (ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਪਰ ਆਪ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪੂਕਾਰੰਤਾ = ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚੀ ਬੋਲ ਬੋਲ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਜਾਣੰਤਾ = ਅ-ਜਾਣੰਤਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ, ਆਪ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ।

ਜਾਂ ਬੂਝੈ; ਤਾਂ ਸੂਝੈ ਸੋਈ ॥

Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ ਜਗਿਆਸੂ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਸੇ ਓਹੀ (ਬੂਝੈ) ਪੂਛੈ ਤੋ ਕੋਈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਸੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ੋਂ ਕੋ ਜੋ ਅਗਿਆਤਪਣੇ ਮੇਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਤਾ ਥਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਸੂਝ ਆਵਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ (ਧਰਮ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ) ਭੇਤ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਦੋਂ (ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਥਾਂ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਾਂ = ਜਦੋਂ। ਸੋਈ = ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ। ਸੂਝੈ = ਦਿੱਸੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਤੇ, ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਟਾਹਰਾਂ ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੂਕ = ਉੱਚੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਬੋਲਣਾ। ਨ ਹੋਈ = ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
