Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ!) ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ (ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਖਾ) ਹੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੀ ਮੁਥਾਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਿਆ ਹੋਰਿ = ਹੋਰ ਜੀਵ ਕੀਹ ਹਨ? ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਮੁਥਾਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ ਜਿਸ (ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ) ਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਧੰਧੇ-ਰੂਪ ਚੋਰ ਨੇ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਦਰ (ਮਹਲ) ਲੱਭਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧੰਧੈ ਚੋਰਿ = ਧੰਧੇ-ਰੂਪ ਚੋਰ ਨੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ੲੈਨੇ = ਏਸ ਨੇ। ਚਿਤਿ ਕਠੋਰਿ = ਕਠੋਰ ਚਿੱਤ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਤੁ ਘਟਿ = ਜਿਸ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ। ਭੰਨਿ ਘੜਾਈਐ = ਭੱਜਦਾ ਘੜੀਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
