Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪਰ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਬੰਦੇ) ਬੜੇ ਘੱਟ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਅਥਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਤੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ (ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹਿਣ)।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਾਈਅਹਿ = ਲੱਭਦੇ ਹਨ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜੇ ਕਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਜਗ੍ਯਾਸੂ ਕੋ ਪੂਰਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਕਰੈ ਤਬ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਐਸਾ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ, (ਤੋਲੁ ਘਟੈ) ਭਾਵ ਸਿਥਲ ਕਬੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਤਾ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਤੋਲ ਘਟਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ, (ਭਾਵ, ਰੱਬ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਅੱਠੇ ਪਹਰ ਦਾ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਘਟਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ) ॥੨॥* ਨੋਟ: ਇਸ ਸਲੋਕ ਦੇ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ ਗਹੁ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਲੋਕ ਦੇ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਲਾ ਕੇ ਵੇਖੋ। ਸਾਫ਼ ਪਿਆ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਲੋਕ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਗਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਲੋਕ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸੀ। ਤੇ ਇਹ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਸਲੋਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ? ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪਾਸ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਸੋ, ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਹਰੇਕ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਗੁਰ-ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਗੁਰਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਵਿਚ ਚਲੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ। (ਵੇਖੋ, ਪੁਸਤਕ 'ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ')।
