Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਜੀਵਾਂ) ਨੂੰ (ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਰੂਪ) ਭਾਂਡੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ (ਦੀ ਭਿੱਛਿਆ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ), (ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ = ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ (ਜੀਵਾਂ) ਨੂੰ। ਭਾਂਡੈ = ਭਾਂਡੇ ਵਿਚ, ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ। ਭਾਉ = ਪ੍ਰੇਮ। ਸਵਾਰਸੀ = ਸਵਾਰੇਗਾ, ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਾਏਗਾ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੂਖੀ = ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੀ। ਪਸਾਉ = ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦੁ, ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼। ਵਿਸਾਰਸੀ = ਵਿਸਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਭੁਲਾ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਬੋਲਿ = ਉਸ (ਗੁਰੂ) ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ॥੩॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ਮੱਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜਦਾ ਹੈ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਸੱਦ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਣੇ = ਲਿਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵਾਪਸ ਬੁਲਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਦੂਜਾ ਕੋਇ ਮਤੈ ਨਾਹਿ = ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਮੱਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਜਗਤ-ਰਚਨਾ ਢਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਐਸੇ (ਨਦਰੀ) ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕੀ ਜੋ (ਕਰਮੁ) ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋਇ ਤਉ (ਨਾਉ) ਕੀ ਬਖਸੀਸ ਹੋਤੀ ਹੈ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਵਜੋਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਮੁ = ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼। ਨਦਰੀ = ਮੇਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ॥੪॥੩॥੫॥
