Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ (-ਰੰਗ) ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਚੰਗੀ ਮੰਦੀ ਕਰਤੂਤਿ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਖਣ ਜੋਗੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਨ, ਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੮॥੧੮॥੧੯॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਵੀਚਾਰੀ = ਵਿਚਾਰਵਾਨ, ਚੰਗੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਪਰਖ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ॥੮॥
