Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮਾਇਆ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ) ਕਲੋਲ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਵਿਸ਼ੇ-ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਦੀ ਹੈ, ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਆਦਿਕ ਸਭ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਫਸਾ ਰੱਖੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੇਲ = ਚੋਜ = ਤਮਾਸ਼ੇ। ਬਿਖੈ = ਵਿਸ਼ੇ-ਵਿਕਾਰ। ਸੂਰ = ਸੂਰਜ (ਦੇਵਤਾ)।

Fareedkot Teekaਬਿਕਾਰੋਂ ਕੀ ਔਰ (ਦੁੰਦਰ) ਰਾਗ ਦੁਵੇਖ ਆਦਿਕੋਂ ਕੀ ਉਤਪਤੀ ਹੋਤੀ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਰੂਪੀ (ਨਉਪਰੀ) ਝਾਂਝਰੋਂ ਕਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ (ਝੁਨੰਤਕਾਰ) ਸਬਦ ਹੋ ਰਹਾ ਹੈ। (ਅਨਿਗ) ਹਾਉ ਭਾਉ ਕਰਤੀ ਫਿਰਤੀ ਹੈ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਗੋਪਾਲ ਔਰ ਸਭ ਮਾਇਆ ਨੇ (ਧੋਹੇ) ਛਲ ਲੀਏ ਹੈਂ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਹੇਠ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ) ਖਰੂਦੀ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਝਾਂਜਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਛਣਕਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਮਾਇਆ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਮਾਇਆ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹਾਵ-ਭਾਵ ਕਰਦੀ ਫਿਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਜਗਤ-ਰੱਖਿਅਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਮਾਇਆ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੱਗ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦੁੰਦਰ = ਝਗੜਾਲੂ, ਖਰੂਦੀ। ਨਉਪਰੀ = {नुपुर} ਝਾਂਜਰਾਂ। ਝੁਨੰਤਕਾਰ = ਛਣਕਾਰ। ਅਨਿਗ = ਅਨੇਕਾਂ। ਭਾਉ = ਹਾਵ-ਭਾਵ। ਧੋਹੇ = ਠੱਗ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ॥

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਇਹ ਤਿੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਜਹਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਚਿਮੜ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਾੜੇ ਮੋਟੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਸੱਟ ਸਹਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ। ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਕੰਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਖਚਤ ਹੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਮਤਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਮਾਨੰਦ ਧਕੇ ਧੋਲੇ ਖਾਦੇ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teekaਪੁਨਹ ਅਕਾਸ ਔ ਮਧ ਔਰ ਪਤਾਲ ਮੇਂ ਮਾਇਆ ਲਪਟ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਔਰ (ਕਾਚ) ਕਚੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਕਾਂਮ ਕਰਮੋਂ ਸੇ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਤੇਜੀ ਸਹਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਤੀ। ਅੰਧੇ ਜੀਵ ਮਾਇਆ ਕੇ (ਧੰਧ) ਬਿਵਹਾਰੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਰਚੇ ਹੂਏ ਹੈਂ। ਜੈਸੇ (ਮਹਾ ਸਾਗਰ) ਵਡਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ, ਵਾ ਜਲ ਮੇਂ (ਹੋਹੇ) ਧੱਕੇ ਲਾਗਤੇ ਹੈਂ। ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਜੈਸੇ ਜਲ ਕੇ ਧੱਕੇ ਕਰ ਨਾਵਕਾ ਡੋਲਤੀ ਹੈ, ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਕੇ ਧੱਕਿਓਂ ਕਰ ਮਨ ਡੋਲਤਾ ਹੈ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਮਾਇਆ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਭਵਨਾਂ (ਦੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ) ਨੂੰ ਚੰਬੜੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਪੁੰਨ ਦਾਨ ਤੀਰਥ ਆਦਿਕ) ਕੱਚੇ ਕਰਮ ਦੀ (ਇਸ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਸੱਟ) ਸਹਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ। ਜੀਵ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਤੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਧੰਧਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੁੱਝੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਇਉਂ ਧੱਕੇ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ) ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਧੱਕੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਉਨੇ = ਭਵਨਾਂ ਵਿਰ। ਲਪਟਾਇ ਰਹੀ = ਚੰਬੜੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਾਚ ਕਰਮਿ = ਕੱਚੇ ਕਰਮ ਨਾਲ। ਨ ਜਾਤ ਸਹੀ = ਸਹਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦੀ। ਉਨਮਤ = ਮਸਤ। ਅੰਧ = ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ। ਧੰਧ ਰਚਿਤ = ਧੰਧਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰੁੱਝੇ ਹੋਇ। ਹੋਹੇ = ਧੱਕੇ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਅਸਰ ਤੋਂ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ (ਹੀ) ਬਚਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ (ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ) ਫਾਹੀ ਕੱਟ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ 'ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ' (-ਪਾਪੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ) ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੧੩੯॥੩॥੧੩॥੧੫੫॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਧਰੇ = ਬਚ ਗਏ। ਫਾਸ = ਫਾਹੀ। ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ = ਵਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ। ਜਾ ਕੋ = ਜਿਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਦਾ। ਓਹੇ = ਉਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੧੩੯॥੩॥੧੩॥੧੫੫॥
