Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦਾ ਖਜਾਨਾ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਤੂੰ ਜਹਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸੁਧਾਰਸ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਮਨ! ਜਿਸ ਜਲ ਕੀ ਨਿਧੀ, ਭਾਵ ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਪਰੇ ਹੋਰ ਉਤਮ ਜਲ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਨਾਮ ਕੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਤੁਮ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਮੇਂ ਆਏ ਹੋ ਸੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਲ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਕੇ ਪਾਸ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਆਏ ਹੋ ਉਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਲ ਨਿਧਿ = ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ (ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਗ ਬੁਝਾਣ ਲਈ ਪਾਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਤ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀ ਅੱਗ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਾਮ-ਜਲ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਹੈ), ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ। ਜਗਿ = ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ। ਪਾਹੀ = ਪਾਸ।

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਮਨ! ਅਨੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਕੇ ਭੇਖੋਂ ਕੇ (ਵੇਸੁ) ਸਰੂਪ ਔ ਚਤਰਾਈਆਂ ਕੋ ਛੋਡ ਦੇਹੋ, ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਸੇ ਏਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਤ ਰੂਪ, ਭਾਵ ਆਤਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਫਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭੇਖ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ ਛੱਡੋ, ਮਨ ਦੀ ਚਲਾਕੀ ਵੀ ਛੱਡੋ, ਇਸ ਦੋ-ਰੁਖ਼ੀ ਚਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਆਂ ਇਹ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ-ਫਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਵੇਸੁ = ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ। ਵੇਸੁ ਭੇਖ = ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭੇਖ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਰਾਵਾ। ਚਤੁਰਾਈ = ਚਲਾਕੀ। ਦੁਬਿਧਾ = ਦੋ-ਰੁਖ਼ੀ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਮਨ!) ਤੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਿਚ ਡੁੱਬ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਚੰਗੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਪਰਖ ਕਰਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ॥੨॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਰ ਅਪਸਰ = ਚੰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦਾ। ਸਾਰ = ਸਮਝ। ਕੀਚ = ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਿਚ। ਬੁਡਾਹੀ = ਤੂੰ ਡੁੱਬਦਾ ਹੈਂ ॥੨॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਅੰਦਰਲੀ ਉੱਚੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਬਣੇਗੀ, ਜੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਰਸਤੇ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਮ ਜਪੋਗੇ ॥੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅੰਤਰਿ = ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ। ਅੰਤਰ ਕੀ = ਅੰਦਰ ਦੀ {ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਅੰਤਰਿ' ਅਤੇ 'ਅੰਤਰ' ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ-ਯੋਗ ਹੈ}। ਤਾਹੀ = ਤਦੋਂ ਹੀ, ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ॥੩॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਮਨ!) ਲੋਭ ਛੱਡ, ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਤੇ ਝੂਠ ਤਿਆਗ। ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਤੁਰਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ-ਫਲ ਮਿਲੇਗਾ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਰਹਰਿ = ਤਿਆਗ ਕੇ। ਸਚੁ ਫਲੁ = ਸਦਾ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਫਲ। ਪਾਹੀ = ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਸਭ ਸੁਕਰਮੋਂ ਕੋ ਕਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੋ: ਹੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ! ਹਮ ਤੋ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਕੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਾ ਆਪ ਕੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨੇਹਾਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਹੈਂ, ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਆਪ ਕੀ ਇਛਾ ਹੋਇ ਤਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਰਾਖੀਏ। ਜੀਉ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਮੇਂ ਜਾਨ ਲੈਣਾ॥੪॥੯॥☬ਪੁਨਾ ਮਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼:
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਉਵੇਂ ਰਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਹੋਵੇ। ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੯॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਲਾਹੀ = ਮੈਂ ਸਲਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ ॥੪॥੯॥
