Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਆਖ-ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਇਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ) ਬੜਾ ਡਰਾਉਣਾ ਖੂਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦਾ) ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੈ (ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਲੈ ॥੩॥੮॥੩੦॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅੰਧ ਕੂਪ = ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਖੂਹ, ਉਹ ਖੂਹ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਘੁੱਪ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੈ। ਭਇਆਨ = ਡਰਾਉਣਾ। ਨਾਨਕ = ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ॥੩॥੮॥੩੦॥
