Fareedkot Teeka(ਤਾਂ ਤੇ) ਤਿਸੀ ਤੇ ਜੀਉ (ਕਰਣ ਪਲਾਹ) ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਰੁਦਨ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ॥☬ਜੇ ਕਹੇ ਕਾਹੇ ਤੇ? ਸੋ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਇਸ (ਮਾਇਆ) ਵਾਸਤੇ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ) ਤਰਸ-ਭਰੇ ਕੀਰਨੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਾ ਤੇ = ਤਾਂ ਤੇ, ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ। ਕਰਣ ਪਲਾਹ = {करुणा प्रलाप} ਤਰਸ-ਭਰੇ ਕੀਰਨੇ, ਤਰਲੇ। ਕਰੇ = ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਟਿਕ ਕੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ (ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਸਾਰੇ) ਪਾਪ ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਿ = ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ। ਦੋਖ = ਪਾਪ। ਜਰੇ = ਸੜ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ (ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਜੁੜੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਸਫਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦੇਹ = ਸਰੀਰ। ਓਇ = {ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਓਹ' ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ} ਧੰਨਿ = ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ। ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ = ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਧਰਮ, ਅਰਥ, ਕਾਮ, ਮੋਖ-ਇਹ) ਚਾਰ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਅਤੇ ਅਠਾਰਾਂ ਸਿੱਧੀਆਂ (ਲੋਕ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਤਰਲੇ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਇਹਨਾਂ) ਸਭਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚਾਰਿ ਪਦਾਰਥ = ਧਰਮ ਅਰਥ ਕਾਮ ਮੋਖ। ਅਸਟ ਦਸਾ = ਅਠਾਰਾਂ। ਸਿਧਿ = ਸਿੱਧੀਆਂ। ਭਲੇ = ਗੁਰਮੁਖ।
