ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਹੁ = ਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋ! ਮਿਲਿ = (ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ) ਮਿਲ ਕੇ। ਭਾਈਹੋ = ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ! ਸਚਾ = ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ। ਸਮਾਲਿ = ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ, ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਾ ਕੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੋਸਾ = (ਜੀਵਨ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦਾ) ਖ਼ਰਚ। ਬੰਧਹੁ = ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੋ। ਜੀਅ ਕਾ = ਜਿੰਦ ਵਾਸਤੇ। ਐਥੈ ਓਥੈ = ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਤੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਿਤੁ = ਕਿਸ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ? ਮੁਖਿ = ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ। ਕਿਤੁ ਮੁਖਿ = ਕੇਹੜੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾਲ? ਕਰਣ = ਸੰਸਾਰ। ਸਮਰਥੁ = ਤਾਕਤ ਵਾਲਾ।
