ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੜ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ = ਕਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਉਤੇ। ਕਾਇਆ = ਸਰੀਰ। ਬਹੁ ਭਾਂਤਿ = ਕਈ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਆਕੜ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ (ਸਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ)। (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਖਾਣ ਤੇ ਭੋਗਣ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ)
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗਰਬੈ = ਗਰਬ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ, ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ, ਆਕੜ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ। ਗਰਬਾਈ = ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਮਨਮੁਖ ਨੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੋ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਆ ਜੋ ਅੰਤ ਕੋ ਛੁਡਾਦਿ ਲੇਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨੪॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਜੋ (ਦੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ) ਆਖ਼ਰ ਛਡਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨੪॥
