ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਚੁ = ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ। ਜਿਸ ਤੇ = {ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਜਿਸੁ' ਦਾ (ੁ) ਸੰਬੰਧਕ 'ਤੇ' ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਡ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ} ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ। ਕੋਟਿ = ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ। ਨਾਵੈ = ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ॥੨॥
