Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਕਿਸੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ) ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਮਨ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ ਬੜੀ ਛੇਤੀ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਦਰਿ = ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ। ਸਾਚਾ = ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ। ਤਤਕਾਲ = ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ। ਵਸਿ = ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ॥੩॥

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਕੋ ਹੀ ਧਿਆਵਣਾ ਕਰ। ਜਿਸ ਨਾਮ ਜਾਪ ਤੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ ਸੇ ਪਾਰ ਕੋ ਪਾਵੇਗਾ, ਭਾਵ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਨ ਸੇ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ॥੪॥੬॥☬ਅਪਨਾ ਅਨਭਵ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰ ਮਨ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਥਾਇ ਉਚਾਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਹਿਂਗਾ ॥੪॥੬॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭਵ ਸਾਗਰੁ = ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ। ਜਿਤੁ = ਜਿਸ (ਨਾਮ) ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ। ਪਾਵਹਿ = ਤੂੰ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਏਂ ॥੪॥੬॥
