Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਸਦਾ (ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਰਾਧਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਆਪਣੀ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਆਰਾਧੇ = ਆਰਾਧਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਰਸਨਾ = ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਦਇਆ ਦੇ ਸੋਮੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਕਰੋ। ਗੋਬਿੰਦ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ) ਸਿਮਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੋਹਣਾ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦਾਮੋਦਰ = {दाम = उदर} ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ। ਆਰਾਧਹੁ = ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰੋ। ਸਹਵੈ = {ਅੱਖਰ 'ਸ' ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਦੋ ਲਗਾਂ ਹਨ: (ੋ) ਅਤੇ (ੁ) ਅਸਲ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ ਹੈ 'ਸੋਹਾਵੈ' ਇਥੇ 'ਸੁਹਾਵੈ' ਪੜ੍ਹਨਾ ਹੈ} ਸੋਹਣਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨ-ਧੂੜ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਨ ਵਿਚ ਲੀਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥੪੮॥੭੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰੇਨਾ = ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ। ਦਰਸਿ = ਦਰਸਨ ਵਿਚ ॥੨॥੪੮॥੭੧॥
