Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਉਂਗਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਉਹ (ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਸਾਲਾਹ-ਰੂਪ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ) ਲਿਖਿਆ (ਭਾਗ) ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੮॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਲਾਹਿ = ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ। ਹਰਿ ਸਰਿ = ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਰੂਪ ਤਲਾਬ ਵਿਚ, ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ (ਦੇ) ਸਰੋਵਰ ਵਿਚ। ਜਾਣਿ = ਸਮਝ ਕੇ। ਮਨੂਆ = ਸੋਹਣਾ ਮਨ।॥੧੮॥
* ਨੋਟ: ਇਸ ਪਉੜੀ ਦੀ ਚੌਥੀ ਤੁਕ ਵਿਚ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਹਰਿ ਸਰਿ' ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੜ੍ਹੋ। ਰਾਮਕਲੀ ਰਾਗ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ 'ਸਦੁ' ਦੀ ਪੰਜਵੀਂ ਪਉੜੀ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਇਹੀ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ ਹੈ 'ਹਰਿ ਸਰਿ ਪਾਵਏ'।
