Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ ਉਹ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਦੇਂਦੇ ਭੀ (ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਭੀ) ਸਦਾ ਮੁੱਕਰੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਕਦੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਜਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਤਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਸਗੋਂ ਦਾਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਭੀ ਇਹੀ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਜਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਸਵਾਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਲੈਤ ਦੇਤ = ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਂਦਿਆਂ। ਉਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ = ਉਹਨਾਂ (ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ) ਨੇ। ਮੂਕਰਿ ਪਰਨਾ = ਮੁੱਕਰ ਜਾਣਾ, ਜਜਮਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਤੇ ਜਜਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਦੇ ਅਹਸਾਨ ਨਾਹ ਮੰਨਣਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਂਞ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਦ ਆਦਿਕ ਧਰਮ-ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਤਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਲੋਭ (ਠਾਠਾਂ ਮਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਲੋਭ ਨਾਲ) ਹਲਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੂਠਾ = ਠੱਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਲੁਟਾ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ।
