Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ (ਆ ਕੇ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ। ਸੋ = ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ। ਸਬਦਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰੂਪ ਧਨ ਹੈ (ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਲਈ) ਖ਼ਰਚ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਸੇ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧਿਆਇਨਿ = ਧਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜਿਨ ਪਲੈ = ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਵਿਚ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਸ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੋਹਨਿ = ਸੋਭਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਚਲੈ = ਅਡੋਲ (ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ)।
