Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਮਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਬੰਸਰੀ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਸਿੰਗ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਤੇ ਨਾਲੇ ਮਿਰਾਸੀ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਖੈਰਾਤ ਉਤੇ ਪੇਟ-ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teeka(ਬੁਰਗੂ) ਕਾਜੀ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ। ਕਾਜੀ ਬਾਂਗਾ ਦੇਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਅਰੁ ਜੋਗੀ ਸਿੰਙੀਆਂ ਬਜਾਵਤੇ ਹੈਂ। (ਨਾਲੇ ਮਿਲੀ ਕਲਾਣ) ਨਾਲੇ ਬਹੁੜੋ ਡੂਮ ਭੱਟ ਰਾਜਿਓਂ ਕੇ ਦ੍ਵਾਰੇ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਤਿਨੋਂ ਕੇ ਬਡਿਓਂ ਕੀ ਉਸਤਤੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮੁੱਲਾਂ) ਬਾਂਗ ਦੇ ਕੇ, (ਫ਼ਕੀਰ) ਤੂਤੀ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ, (ਜੋਗੀ) ਸਿੰਙੀ ਵਜਾ ਕੇ, (ਮਿਰਾਸੀ) ਕਲਾਣ ਕਰ ਕੇ (ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਨ);
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬੁਰਗੂ = (ਫ਼ਾ: ਬੁਰਗ਼ੂ) ਤੂਤੀ।

Sant Singh Khalsa- some are givers, and some are beggars; they become acceptable only through Your Name, Lord.
Manmohan SinghSome are bestowers and some the mumpers. Only the contemplators of the Name become acceptable.

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ) ਕਈ ਮੰਗਤੇ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਦਾਤੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ = ਕਬੂਲ, ਪਸੰਦ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ ॥੨॥
