Sant Singh KhalsaO rainbird, the virtuous soul-bride attains the Mansion of her Lord's Presence; the unworthy, unvirtuous one is far away.
Manmohan SinghO pied-cuckoo, the virtuous bride mounts to her Lord's mansion and the impious one is far removed from it.

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ ਜੀਵ! ਗੁਣਵੰਤੀਓਂ ਨੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਪਾਇ ਲੀਆ ਹੈ, ਅਉਗੁਣਵੰਤੀਓਂ ਸੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ (ਜੀਵ-) ਪਪੀਹੇ! ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ (ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ) ਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਲੱਭ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਅਉਗਣਿਆਰੀ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਥ ਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਹਲੁ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ (ਜੀਵ-) ਪਪੀਹੇ! ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਰੱਬ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਸਦਾ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਜੂਰਿ = ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ। ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਰਿਹਾਂ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਜਦ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਮਾਲਕ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਅੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਫਿਰ ਚੀਕਦਾ ਤੇ ਰੋਂਦਾ ਪਿਟਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ) ਕਿਸੇ ਕੂਕ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ, ਮੇਹਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਂਈ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਹੋ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹੋਵਈ = ਹੋਵਏ, ਹੋਵੈ, ਹੁੰਦੀ। ਨਦਰੀ = ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ।
SikhNet (Spanish)El Gurmukj percibe su Presencia. Cuando el Señor otorga su Mirada de Gracia, el mortal deja de sollozar y acongojarse.

Sant Singh KhalsaO Nanak, those who are imbued with the Naam intuitively merge with the Lord; they practice the Word of the Guru's Shabad. ||1||

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜੋ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਕੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਕੋ (ਘਾਲ) ਪਾਇਕਰ ਨਾਮੀ ਮੇਂ ਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਸੋ (ਸਹਜੇ) ਸ੍ਵਰੂਪ ਮੇਂ ਅਭੇਦ ਹੂਏ ਹੈਂ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਰੰਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ (ਜੁੜ ਕੇ) ਘਾਲ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਘਾਲ = ਮਿਹਨਤ। ਨਾਮਿ = ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ। ਰਤੇ = ਰੰਗੇ ਹੋਏ। ਸਹਜੇ = ਸਹਜਿ, ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ (ਟਿਕ ਕੇ)। ਸਬਦਿ = ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ (ਜੁੜ ਕੇ) ॥੧॥
