ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਾ ਕਉ = ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ? ਲਪਟਾਇਓ = ਚੰਬੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਮੋਹ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ) ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜੋ = ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ। ਗੁਰਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ। ਬਖਸਿ = ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ (ਸਦਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਥੀ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਕ ਸੈਣ ਦਾ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਧਨ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਦਾ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਦੁਖੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ) ॥੪॥੩੭॥੧੦੬॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾ = {ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਤਿਸੁ' 'ਜਿਸੁ' ਦਾ (ੁ) ਸੰਬੰਧਕ 'ਕਾ' ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਡ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ} ॥੪॥
