Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਗਰੀਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ ਅਤੇ ਗ਼ਮ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨਹਾਰ, ਹਰ ਇਕਸ ਦਿਲ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ, ਜਿਸ ਉਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ,
Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਐਸੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੋ: ਹੇ ਦੀਨੋਂ ਕੇ ਦਰਦ ਔਰੁ ਦੁਖੋਂ ਕੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨੇ ਹਾਰੇ ਔਰ (ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ) ਸਰਬ ਜੀਵ ਅਨਾਥੋਂ ਕੇ (ਨਾਥ) ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ! ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਦੀਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਦ ਤੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਹੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਹਰੀ! ਹੇ ਅਨਾਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਥ!
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦੀਨ = ਗਰੀਬ, ਕੰਗਾਲ, ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ। ਭੰਜਨਾ = ਤੋੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ। ਘਟਿ = ਘਟ ਵਿਚ, ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ। ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ = ਹਰੇਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵਿਚ (ਵਿਆਪਕ)। ਨਾਥ = ਮਾਲਕ, ਖਸਮ। ਅਨਾਥ = ਯਤੀਮ, ਨਿਖਸਮੇ। ਨਾਥ = ਅਨਾਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਥ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਮੈਂ ਅਨਾਥ ਦੀਨ ਹੋ ਕਰ ਆਪ ਕੀ ਸਰਨ ਆਯਾ ਹੂੰ। ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੁਮ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾ ਸਭ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ ਹੋ, ਭਾਵ ਸੇ ਸਰਬ ਬਿਆਪੀ ਹੋ, ਵਾ (ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਾਥ) ਸਮ੍ਰਥ ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮ ਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ ਮਿਲ ਕਰ ਮੈਂ ਆਪ ਕੀ ਸਰਣ ਆਯਾ ਹਾਂ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਇਓ = ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ। ਪ੍ਰਭ = ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਚਰਨੀਂ ਪੈ ਕੇ ॥੧॥
* ਨੋਟ: ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ "ਤੁਮ੍ਹ੍ਹਾਰੀ" ਦੇ ਅੱਖਰ 'ਮ' ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਅੱਧਾ 'ਹ' ਹੈ।
