ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਹਾ ਜਨੁ = ਮੁਖੀਆ। ਪੰਚਾ = ਮੁਖੀਆ। ਕੈ ਕਾਮ = ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਸਹਾਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ)।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦੂਤ = ਵੈਰੀ। ਬਿਦਾਰੇ = ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮ = ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਪੇ = ਆਪ ਹੀ। ਪਤਿ = ਇੱਜ਼ਤ। ਬੰਧਾਨ = ਬਾਂਧ, ਪੱਕਾ ਨਿਯਮ।

Fareedkot Teeka(ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ) ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸੇਵਕੋਂ ਕੀ ਪਰਤਗਿਆ ਰਾਖਤਾ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਹਮਾਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਰਬ ਬਾਤੋਂ ਕੋ ਜਾਨਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥੪੦॥੬੩॥☬ਸਨਮੁਖ ਉਸਤਤੀ:
