Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਧੰਧਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੋਈ ਸਾਰੀ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਸੁੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਭਗਤ (ਇਸ ਮੋਹ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਜਾਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭ੍ਰਮ = ਭਟਕਣ। ਸੋਈ = ਸੁੱਤੀ ਹੋਈ। ਸਗਲ = ਸਾਰੀ (ਲੁਕਾਈ)। ਅੰਧ = ਅੰਨ੍ਹੀ। ਕੋਊ = ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ॥੧॥

Sant Singh KhalsaThe mortal is intoxicated with the great enticement of Maya, which is dearer to him than life. How rare is the one who renounces it. ||2||

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਆਦਮੀ ਪਰਮ ਮਾਇਆ ਨਾਲ ਨਸ਼ਈ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਠੜੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਹੈ। ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਥੋੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਲਾਂਜਲੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teekaਜੀਵ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਪੂਰਬਕ (ਮਹਾ ਮੋਹਨੀ) ਅਤੀ ਮੋਹਨੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਯਾ ਮੇਂ ਮਗਨ ਹੋ ਰਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣੋਂ ਸੇ ਭੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲਗ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ॥ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਕੋਈ ਬਿਰਲਾ ਤਿਆਗਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਬਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਵਿਚ ਲੁਕਾਈ ਮਸਤ ਪਈ ਹੈ, (ਮਾਇਆ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ) ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਜਿੰਦ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਭੀ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਲੱਗ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਨੂੰ) ਛੱਡਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੋਹਨੀ = ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਮੋਹ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਇਆ। ਮਗਨ = ਮਸਤ। ਪ੍ਰਿਅ = ਪਿਆਰੀ। ਪ੍ਰਾਨ = ਜਿੰਦ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ, ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚ, ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਚਿੱਤ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਨੂਪ = ਸੁੰਦਰ। ਮੰਤ = ਉਪਦੇਸ਼। ਸਾਧੂ = ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ ॥੩॥

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜੋ ਸਾਧੂਓਂ ਕਾ ਸੰਗ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਕੇ (ਰੰਗਿ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੇ ਮੋਹ ਨਿੰਦ੍ਰਾ ਸੇ ਜਾਗੇ ਹੈਂ॥ ਓਹੀ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਬਡੇ ਭਾਗੋਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੈਂ ਔਰ ਉਨੀਂ ਪਰ ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਕੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਹੈ॥੪॥੧॥੩੯॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਕੇ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇ) ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ (ਰੰਗੀਜ ਕੇ, ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਓਹੋ ਜਾਗਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਏ ॥੪॥੧॥੩੯॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਗਿ = ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ। ਸਾਧੂ = ਗੁਰੂ। ਰੰਗਿ = ਰੰਗ ਵਿਚ।
