Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ ਕਰਮ ਤੈਨੇ ਲੁਕ ਕਰ ਕੀਆ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਬਿਆਪਕ ਨੇ ਦੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹੇ (ਮੂੜ ਮੁਗਧ) ਅਤੀ ਮੂਰਖ ਜੀਵ! ਤੂੰ ਤਿਸ ਸੇ (ਮੁਕਰਾਨੀ) ਮੁਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਆ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜੇਹੜਾ ਜੇਹੜਾ (ਮੰਦਾ) ਕੰਮ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਲੁਕ ਕੇ (ਭੀ) ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਪਰ ਮੂਰਖ ਬੇ-ਸਮਝ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਫਿਰ ਭੀ) ਮੁੱਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਲੂਕਿ = ਲੁਕ ਕੇ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛਿਪਾ ਕੇ। ਪੇਖਿਓ = ਵੇਖ ਲਿਆ, ਵੇਖ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਮੂੜ ਮੁਗਧ = ਮੂਰਖ ਬੰਦੇ। ਮੁਕਰਾਨੀ = ਮੁੱਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਭਰਮ ਕੇ ਲੂਟੇ ਹੂਏ ਜੀਵ! ਤੂੰ ਤਿਸ ਪਾਸ ਸੇ ਪਰਦਾ ਰਖਤਾ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਲੁਕਾਇ ਕੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈਂ। (ਪਾਛੈ) ਮਰਨ ਕਾਲ ਸੇ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਪੁਰਸ ਕੇ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਮਾਨੀ ਜਾਏਗੀ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਨੀ ਜਾਏਗੀ। ਵਾ ਮਨ ਕੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੀ ਮਾਨੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਉਪਰਕਾ ਦਿਖਾਵਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੂਸੇ = ਠੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ। ਪਾਛੈ = ਲੁਕ ਕੇ। ਜੀਅ ਕੀ ਮਾਨੀ = ਮਨ-ਮੰਨੀ (ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Fareedkot Teekaਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਐਸੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੇ: ਹੇ ਭਗਵੰਤ! ਜਿਸ ਜਿਸ ਤਰਫੁ ਜੀਵ ਤੈਨੇ ਲਗਾਏ ਹੈਂ ਤਿਸ ੨ ਓਰ ਲਗੇ ਹੈਂ। ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਸੇ ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ ਕਿਆ ਕਰ ਸਕਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪਰ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੀ ਕੀਹ ਵੱਸ?) ਜਿਸ ਜਿਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਧਰ ਉਧਰ ਉਹ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਅੱਗੇ) ਕੋਈ ਹੀਲ-ਹੁੱਜਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੋ ਪਰਾਨੀ = ਕੋਈ ਜੀਵ।
