Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਅੰਡਜ ਜੇਰਜ ਸੇਤਜ ਉਤਭੁਜ-ਚੌਰਾਸੀ ਲੱਖ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਤਪੱਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਹ) ਖਾਣਾਂ ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਣਤਰ (ਰਚਨਾ) ਤੇਰੀ ਹੀ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਖਾਣੀ = {खानि। ਅੰਡਜ, ਜੇਰਜ, ਉਤਭੁਜ, ਸੇਤਜ। ਚੌਰਾਸੀ ਲੱਖ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਵਸੀਲੇ}। ਬਾਣੀ = ਬਣਤਰ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਭ = ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ। ਭਰਮਿ = ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ (ਪੈ ਕੇ)। ਭੁਲਾਣੀ = ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਈ ਹੋਈ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਅਜੇਹੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਕਿਸੇ) ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਤੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਕਿਸੇ) ਤੀਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ (ਭੀ) ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ) ਦੇਸ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਭੌਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਪਰ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਤੀਰਥ-ਜਾਤ੍ਰਾ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਮਾਣ ਨਾਲ) ਹੋਰ ਵਧੀਕ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵਧੇਰੀ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੀ ਮੈਲ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਜੂਰਿ = ਹਾਜ਼ਰ-ਨਾਜ਼ਰ, ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ।
